Lola Young Releases New Single: “d£aler”

South London singer and songwriter Lola Young, winner of the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award and BRIT Award nominee, has just unveiled her latest single, “d£aler”, taken from her forthcoming album I’m Only F**king Myself, which is set to be released on 19 September.

Despite tackling themes of self-sabotage and personal struggle, “d£aler” is one of the album’s most infectious tracks. Built on a backdrop of shuffling drums, layered synths, and twanging guitars, the single delivers one of Lola’s most emotionally vulnerable performances yet, all while staying sonically upbeat and captivating.

I’m Only F**king Myself showcases Lola’s evolution both musically and emotionally. Balancing raw honesty with bold, unfiltered energy, the album dives into complex themes such as self-destruction and escapism through vices like sex and drugs, which often spiral into nihilism.

Created alongside longtime collaborators Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (whose credits include Doja Cat and SZA), the album also includes her recent hit “One Thing”, which continues to climb the UK Top 20 Singles Chart with millions of streams to date.

Lola Young is a Rising Star with Global Momentum

Lola’s breakthrough year has been monumental. After taking home the Rising Star title at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards and being nominated for Best Pop Act at the BRIT Awards, she’s continued building her profile through high-profile collaborations with artists like Tyler, The Creator (“Like Him”) and Lil Yachty (“Charlie”).
