Fast-rising pop talent Max More is back with a bold new single, “Hot & Heavy.” The track blends playful energy with emotional depth, diving into the rush of young love, passion and the process of figuring yourself out along the way.
At just 20, Max continues to shape his place in the pop and indie-pop space, leaning into a more mature sound while holding onto the vulnerability that defines his music.
“Hot & Heavy” is rooted in real-life experience, capturing the magnetic pull between two people and the emotional high that comes with it. It explores not just the connection itself, but also the fantasies we sometimes build around love.
While the relationship that inspired the track didn’t last, it became a moment of reflection for the artist. That mix of reality and imagination gives the song its emotional edge.
Beneath the flirtatious title, there’s a deeper layer. It taps into that universal moment when two people lock eyes and everything else fades into the background.
Musically, “Hot & Heavy” signals growth. Max experiments with new textures and a groove-driven sound that feels confident, upbeat and slightly more refined than his earlier releases.
The track balances emotional storytelling with a feel-good energy, making it just as suited for a late-night drive as it is for a playlist that doesn’t sit still.
Max More has been steadily gaining traction, with his previous single “High” making serious waves on 5FM. The track landed on the station’s Top 40 and climbed into the Top 5, putting him firmly on the radar as one of the country’s emerging pop artists to watch.

From Early Passion to Full-Time Artist
Music has always been part of Max’s life. Growing up in a musically inclined family, he was involved in choir, acting and stage performance from a young age.
After finishing school in 2024, he committed fully to his music career, spending his time writing, producing and refining his sound. Now in his second year as an independent artist, he’s focused on building a deeper connection with listeners through honest, relatable storytelling.
For Max More, music goes beyond entertainment. It’s a way of processing life, emotions and identity.
That mindset comes through clearly in “Hot & Heavy.” It’s not just a song about love. It’s about understanding the intensity of feeling, the confusion that can come with it, and the growth that follows.
A Promising Step Forward for Max More
With its infectious groove and emotional core, “Hot & Heavy” feels like a confident next step for an artist who is still at the beginning of his journey.
If this release is anything to go by, Max More isn’t just chasing hits. He’s building something that people can actually connect with.
