Tymicah, a rising independent talent in Cape Town’s music scene, is ready to captivate audiences with her highly anticipated debut house single, “Forgetting You.”
Infusing elements of catharsis and celebration, Tymicah’s latest release promises to be a soundtrack for both introspection and joy.
“I make music out of necessity. I have one of those brains that makes me incredibly sad if I don’t,” shares Tymicah, highlighting her deep emotional connection to her art.
With “Forgetting You,” she invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery and liberation. The track explores the complex emotions of leaving behind a past love, offering a cathartic release amidst difficult moments.
However, amidst the deep introspection, the artist’s infectious beats and soulful vocals ensure that “Forgetting You” is also a celebration of life and love.
“While I want my music to be a point of catharsis for my listeners, I also just want to make people dance and make them happy, even amidst difficult moments,” explains Tymicah.
Driven by a desire to connect with her audience on a deeper level, this artist is poised to make waves with “Forgetting You.” The single is out now on all major streaming platforms!
