Today top Afrikaans electro rap act Bittereinder released a brand new music video. These Pretoria boytjies stunned audiences at Oppikoppi Odyssey this year with an amazing performance featuring no less than 9 brand new tracks off their upcoming third studio album, “Skerm”.
I have to admit I expected a bit darker sound from the upcoming Bittereinder album and it seems that this is exactly what they are going to deliver.
The first single and title track off the album, “Skerm” is evidence of this. The video was shot and cut by Louis Minnaar and it’s absolutely stunning. I’m also impressed by the catchy lyrics in the song, it’s very clever. Just check it out below and you’ll see and hear what I mean.

The album promises to be one of the best albums of the year. I’m looking forward to cranking this up loud as I’m driving around the capital city and on possible road trips in the future. I’m pretty sure that tons of people will be “bonsing” to the upcoming album and I’m excited to see what else they have up their sleeve.
