Renowned dark synthwave producer Das Mörtal released his double single, “PARASITE & GHOST,” on 4 June 2026 via Lisbon Lux Records. With over 31.4 million streams on Spotify alone and widespread global media support, Das Mörtal continues to solidify his status as a force in the dark synthwave scene.
Having released numerous EPs and albums, Das Mörtal has built a formidable reputation both online and on stage.
His music has been featured on prominent Spotify playlists like Retrowave // Outrun and Darkwave, while his live experience includes nearly 100 shows since 2015.
He has graced major festival stages such as Osheaga, Transmusicales de Rennes, FME, and Meg Festival, and has supported heavyweights like Vitalic, Perturbator, and Carpenter Brut on tour.
Das Mörtal’s New Double Single
“PARASITE & GHOST” offers two distinct sides of the producer’s dark, nostalgic aesthetic:
“PARASITE”: An upbeat, fast-paced darkwave track defined by its dazzling synth melodies and driving rhythm section. Reflecting on the track, Das Mörtal reveals: “An illness has affected my body for some time now, and PARASITE was made under a pain that I can’t quite shake off.”
“GHOST”: A witch-house-infused pop single featuring catchy vocal melodies and driving, kick drum-infused percussion designed for the dance floor.
These tracks set a compelling stage for his upcoming mini-album, DECVY I, which is scheduled for release on 29 October 2026. Fans of Vitalic, Perturbator, and Ø [phase] will find plenty to love in this latest offering.

Currently based in Montréal, Das Mörtal began his journey in Berlin, drawing early inspiration from artists like Steve Moore and Aphex Twin.

His work has received acclaim from influential publications including CLASH Magazine, KALTBLUT Magazine, METAL Magazine, MetalSucks, and Brutal Resonance.
