South African heavy rockers Ethyl Ether have released a video for their latest single “Voodoo”. The single is drawn from a deep well of musical inspiration that blends blues, psychedelia and rock n roll.
The track is taken from the bands well received 2020 release Chrome Neon Jesus, which saw key media like the US’s Doomed & Stoned calling the album “ a nice, long, satisfying trip” and the UK ‘s Distorted Sound Magazine saying “ Chrome Neon Jesus is an album that is worthy of a world beating rock band” in their 9/10 review.
Pabs from Ethyl Ether comments on “Voodoo”
“Voodoo is a psychedelic trip that takes you back to the good ol’days of rock n roll. No frills, no fancy, just a song to lose your shit to. And then play it all over again.”

More info about Ethyl Ether
Ethyl Ether are one of the country’s best stoner rock acts. Despite only forming only a few years back, the band have already managed to create a significant buzz around them off the back of several great live shows and equally good music, most notably their The Pleasure Room album. The bands latest album, Chrome Neon Jesus, is the absolute apex of the bands output to date, and could very well see the band cement themselves on an international scale.
