I recently had a chat to Andre Kriel from The Black Cat Bones. This top notch South African rock band will be jamming at the 2019 edition of Capital Craft Beer Festival in Pretoria on the 15th of June. This is what he had to say…
What have The Black Cat Bones been up to?
Searching for Casey’s stolen car, keeping Kobus out of jail and taking measurements for our SAMA 2019 outfits.
What is Andre Kriel’s favourite craft beer and why?
Jack Black, cause our good friend Wim van Vuuren works as a manager with them, plus they have the word ‘black’ in their name.
What is Andre Kriel’s favourite quote about beer?
‘There are more old beer drinkers than there are doctors …’ – Willie Nelson
What is the funniest thing you’ve ever seen a person do with a beer?
Snort it!
Who would win in a celebrity deathmatch between Pikachu and Gizmo and why?
Pika who!?
What can we expect from The Black Cat Bones at the 2019 edition of Capital Craft Beer Festival?
A whole lota guzzling, gargling, spitting and some good ole Bone-Shakin!
What can we expect from The Black Cat Bones for the rest of 2019?
We have 2 huge tours coming up including a trip to Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Cuba! Also look out for some brand-new tracks recorded with the greenhorn Casey on bass.
I’d like to thank Andre Kriel and The Black Cat Bones for this interview. I wish them all of the best with their set at Capital Craft 2019 and their future musical adventures.
