Joss Austin, one of SA’s fastest rising musicians has dropped his biggest single to date with the release of “No Sleep” across all digital platforms today.
The 24-year-old Durban-born singer-songwriter, has already achieved quite a bit of success independently with his first few releases, but it was when Joss signed with TMS Music – owned by well-known 27-year-old Entrepreneur, Sashin Govender – that the opportunities really started coming to fruition.
Since the signing, Joss has released some of his strongest music yet and toured with Grammy nominated artist, Sean Kingston. Dre London (manager for Post Malone) and Akon (who has achieved remarkable success worldwide with his music career) have also been two friendly advisors for Sashin Govender after he introduced them to Joss back in June of 2020.
What makes Joss special? His strong song writing talent and versatility between singing and rapping, makes him one of the most diverse artists to emerge from SA, and this has led to him reaching a wide audience of listeners across the globe.
“No Sleep” is easily Joss Austin’s favourite and strongest release to date
“’No sleep’ is really just a feel-good song that speaks about being lovestruck for the wrong person sometimes, but it doesn’t mean it’s not fun though” explains Joss when delving into the theme of the song. The single was written and recorded by Joss himself and he recalls the process, saying “It was one of those spontaneous sessions where the song really writes itself. When it’s easy, that’s when you know it’s working.”
Joss Austin has built himself a vast fanbase over the past few years and is excited to release ‘No Sleep’ across all digital platforms and radio today.
Joss Austin has has a special message to his fans
“I love my fans and everyone that supports me and listens to my music. Wouldn’t be here without them and I really just hope that this song puts them in a real good mood like it does for me.”
