Justin Serrao has revealed the music video for his beautiful power ballad ‘Perfect Stranger’. The track has also been released on all digital platforms.
Justin Serrao explains ‘Perfect Stranger’
“’Perfect stranger’ is a song about not wanting to settle for the next candidate just because they are there. Looking back on love lost. The struggle of a broken heart.”
Justin captures every essence of the song’s message with his incredible vocal delivery.

The music video compliments the struggle of a broken heart perfectly with the camera following a broken soul travelling through the big city, reminiscing on a lost Love. The creative decision to go with the black and white treatment gives the video its distant memory feel.
The music video was directed by Charl Fraser and filmed at four different locations in Johannesburg. Some of the footage was shot on a previous trip to New York. The locations in Johannesburg were High Seas Studios in Rosebank, a private home in Northcliff, Sandton Gautrain Station and The Botanist in Parkhurst.
Justin is very proud of the ‘Perfect Stranger’ music video
“It was a looong day of shooting with the different locations and looking like a crazy person singing out loud in peak our traffic in Sandton. Totally worth it though, it came out beautifully.”
Serrao joined renowned SA producer and musician, Mark Beling, in studio for the writing and recording of ‘Beautiful Stranger’.

Justin comments on working with Mark
“I had something I wanted to get off my chest in the writing of ‘Perfect Stranger’, so I came to Mark with a stripped-down love song and we turned it into this big ballad. Was about 3 months of back and forth with this baby.”
The time spent in studio and working with Beling, has paid off.
‘Perfect Stranger’ celebrates Serrao’s signature Country-Rock sound and elevates it into a powerful ballad that cries with the struggle of a broken heart.
