An Unfiltered Breakthrough for Angelique Greffrath
Unlike many carefully crafted compositions, the song arrived in a sudden wave of inspiration. “The lyrics poured out in less than twenty minutes,” says Angelique Greffrath. “There was no overthinking, no rewriting, and very little second-guessing. Looking back, it felt less like writing a song and more like documenting a breakthrough in real time.”
To capture this vision, Angelique collaborated with producer Kevin Leicher. The raw emotion was locked in immediately, with all lead vocals and harmonies recorded during the very first studio session. The result, according to Angelique, is her heaviest and most emotionally exposed release to date.
