Beloved South African singer-songwriter Majozi has officially released his latest single, “Hold Tight.” Serving as the third official single from his acclaimed 2026 EP, Flannel Music, the track continues the artist’s tradition of warm, heartfelt storytelling.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the track, Majozi explains that it was born from a period of intense movement and international travel.

The release of “Hold Tight” coincides with a massive milestone for the independent artist: the announcement of his biggest self-promoted Johannesburg headline show to date.
On Sunday, 13 September 2026, Majozi will take over Sognage for an event titled Holy Moly, It’s Majozi in Jozi.
Designed as a family-friendly Sunday afternoon celebration, the concert aims to bring together longtime supporters, new listeners, and families for an unforgettable day of community and live music.
“I’ve dreamed about putting together a Johannesburg show like this for a long time,” he shares. “I wanted it to feel bigger than just a concert… this feels like an opportunity to celebrate together”.
