Mrs B – Easy Way Out

I’ve written about Mrs B quite a lot on Running Wolf’s Rant, so my regular readers will be familiar with them by now. For those of you who did not know, Mrs B are a rock band based in Pretoria, South Africa. Pedro Barbosa (on vocals and guitar), Bradley Carradus (on drums), Wouter Reyneke (on bass), Heinie van der Walt (on keyboards) and Shawn Van Staden (on guitar) are the members of the band. Mrs B released their 3rd album, The Milkshake Revolution in early April 2011. “Radio ready riffs and catchy melodies that ring in the listeners ears for weeks” is how Pedro Barbosa (the Mrs B frontman) describes this album.

The album was launched at Mokha Rock Lounge (at the National Botanical Gardens in Pretoria). I attended this sold out show (which turned out to be an awesome party at one of the capital city’s most-awesome venues). Mrs B have truly upped their game with The Milkshake Revolution. Their presence and Pedro’s humorous comments on stage have the ability to turn most members of their audience into instant fans. 2011 is going to be a big year for Mrs B (in my opinion). An Interview With Mrs B was posted on Running Wolf’s Rant in August 2010, check it out. Check out their Facebook Fan Page at http://www.facebook.com/MRSBBAND. You can also follow Mrs B on Twitter at @MRSBBAND1.

The band released this promotional video for Easy Way Out (a possible first single) to promote the release of The Milkshake Revolution

I was actually at one of the shows (Rock in the Square in Hatfield Square, Pretoria in October 2010) from which footage was taken for this video. What do you think of this song and band? Do you think my taste in music sucks, or not? Feel free to comment on this post and let the readers of Running Wolf’s Rant know what you think. The previous song that was featured on this blog was Adolescents by Incubus, feel free to check it out. Watch this space for regular updates featuring Songs on this blog.
