International singer and songwriter N8N pays homage to his second home in his latest single and music video, “Cape Town”. It was released in early December of 2017 and the video has already reached more than 50,000 views on YouTube.

The idea for the song came about while Nathan was working in Los Angeles with critically acclaimed producer Andre Harris (Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, Usher, Jill Scott) and songwriter Carmen Reece (Ariana Grande). Jet lagged and overworked, Nathan found himself missing the Mother City and was inspired to pen a tribute which turned into a vibrant city anthem.
His biggest release to date, the track draws from N8N’s unique ‘raw soul’ beginnings melded with a modern pop sound. In collaboration with a local team of producers and musicians, the music video features an array of popular attractions and is imbued with the summer spirit, reminding South Africans of why we love Cape Town while inviting others to explore its shores. Having shared the stage with artists such as Seal, Macy Gray and Kool and the Gang, N8N has performed all over the world. Although based in Belgium, N8N has for the last four years dedicated a large part of his time to touring in South Africa with some of his latest singles gaining airplay on South African radio stations. “Cape Town” will be the first single off his new album to be released in spring 2018.
