South African singer-songwriter and acclaimed live-loop artist Tanner Wareham has unveiled the official music video for his latest single, “MAIA” — a vibrant Afro-dance anthem rooted in spirituality and overflowing with rhythmic energy. Filmed on the breathtaking cliffs of Monteseel, just outside Tanner’s hometown of Hillcrest, the video captures more than just scenery.
Against sweeping landscapes bathed in golden light, Tanner delivers a live-loop performance that brings the song’s themes to life — the wonder of creation, submission to God’s greatness, and the joy of salvation.
“This is where I feel most inspired — performing live, surrounded by creation,” says Tanner. “Monteseel was the perfect place to reflect what this song is about: the greatness of God, and the joy that comes from recognizing that.”
