The Huawei P50 Pro: Everything You Should Know

The Huawei P50 and P50 Pro were officially launched in July 2021, which was already late compared to the expected time, but since October, it has not been sold to customers worldwide. Currently, you can only buy phones in China.

Huawei has now confirmed that it will export its smartphones, and Malaysia will receive the P50 Pro on January 12, 2022. Still, it is unclear when and when important regions such as the UK and Australia will receive them.

Details about the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro

The Huawei P50 and P50 Pro are 2021 additions to the company’s long line of smartphones focused on images, working better across the board, but especially on the camera side. You can find out everything you need to know about the phone and the Huawei P50 Pro pre-sell.

Huawei P50

Design and Display

The Huawei P50 Pro has the display specs but is slightly larger by 6.6 inches and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. Unlike the “vanilla” phone, its screen is curved at the edges. Phones look very similar (removes display) with rear cameras mounted on two large circles in the back. Devices have USB-C holes but no 3.5mm headphone jack. The Huawei P50 has a 6.5-inch flat OLED screen separated by a front-facing camera cut in the middle at the top. The resolution is 1228 x 2700, the refresh rate is 90Hz, and the touch input is 300Hz.

Camera and Battery Timing

The Huawei P50 Pro has 64MP telephoto camera, 50MP main, 40MP monochrome, and 13MP wide ultra-angle camera. It is a high-resolution image, periscope camera provides digital zoom 200x impressive (and 3.5x optical). The front-facing camera on both phones is 13MP, so it is a little lighter than other shots. Still, it’s more than what you need to take pictures of yourself.

The Huawei P50 Pro will come with a special black version, and there is also a Dynamic Sky Blue version that offers a 3D effect on the back of the phone, though this version is thicker and heavier than other versions. This version will use photo chromatic background wallpaper to change color in an incoming call. The Huawei P50 has a 4100mAh battery, and if you go for the Pro, you get a bigger 4360mAh power pack.

Working with Software

Since this is not an ordinary Android phone, it is worth mentioning more about the software. We know that Huawei cannot provide Google services and instead promotes its software solutions with Huawei mobile services running in the android context. It is best Huawei product with latest features.

All new Huawei P50 phones use the Harmony OS 2, a rival of the company’s Android company revealed earlier this year. The software doesn’t sound like a million miles from Android, but it does make a few changes. First of all, Huawei AppStore has a limited number of apps, though you can get around this by using petal search, a way to install other apps on the web. You can buy this phone online.
