American neo-soul and R&B artist Malia has built an impressive South African following without ever performing in the country.
Now, after connecting with listeners through streaming and social media, the artist is officially introducing herself to her growing South African audience with her new single, “Touch”.
Johannesburg has emerged as one of Malia’s top cities worldwide, highlighting the organic connection she has developed with South African listeners despite never having toured the country.

Globally, Malia has accumulated more than 100 million streams across her catalogue and attracts more than 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Her South African audience has also grown rapidly on social media. In just a few months, she has gained approximately 70,000 TikTok followers from South Africa, further demonstrating the strong connection her music has made with local audiences.
