Grammy Award-winning rock titans Muse have released their immersive tenth studio album, The Wow! Signal. Fueled by adventurous production and explosive instrumentation, the record explores themes of extraterrestrial communication, technological anxiety, and the human search for meaning in an increasingly disconnected world.
Alongside the album release, the band has shared a visualizer for the standout track, “Hush,” featuring Ellie Goulding.
The song serves as a desperate, beautiful grasp for connection amidst an apocalyptic event, moving from raw, soaring guitar riffs to intimate passages powered by spare piano. The track culminates in a massive chorus where Bellamy and Goulding plead for listeners to “forget the world together” and find quiet within the chaos.

The Wow! Signal brings together a strikingly varied set of previously released singles into one cohesive sonic universe:
“Nightshift Superstar”: A deliriously urgent track described as a “shimmering slice of OTT disco-rock.”
“Hexagons”: A vibrant, stratospheric expedition into the band’s most technically bold soundscapes.
“Cryogen”: A blast of classic Muse featuring wailing riffs and an arena-destroying chorus.
“Be With You”: A hopeful anthem that quickly became a Top 5 hit at Alternative Radio.
“Unravelling”: The maximalist track that first sparked album rumors with its collision of arpeggiated synths and colossal riffs.
The album features writing and production by Dan Lancaster, with additional contributions from Aleks Von Korff, BloodPop®, and the London Metropolitan Orchestra.
The album takes its name from one of the most compelling interstellar mysteries of the last century: a 72-second radio burst detected in 1977 from the constellation Sagittarius.
The astronomer who discovered the anomaly famously wrote “WOW!” on the data printout, cementing the signal’s place in both scientific and pop-culture lore – a perfect reference point for an album that thrums with mystery, awe, and existential wonder.
