After two standout editions in 2025 that firmly established Praise the LOUD Fest as one of South Africa’s fastest-growing independent alternative music festivals, the event returns to Sognage on Saturday, 24 October 2026 for another unforgettable celebration of loud guitars, legendary bands, fresh talent, and community.
Brought to you by the female-run music agency Praise the LOUD, the festival is much more than just a concert – it is a reunion, a discovery platform, and a celebration of the artists who have shaped and continue to shape the country’s rock, punk, and alternative landscape.
The 2026 Praise the LOUD Fest Line-up
This year’s bill brings together some of South Africa’s most respected names alongside exciting contemporary acts:
BOO! – Iconic alternative rock pioneers beloved for their unique Monkipunk sound, high-energy live performances, and catalog that helped define the local scene.
Ac/Es – Uniting acclaimed singer-songwriter Arno Carstens and guitarist, producer, and songwriter Evert Snyman, this dynamic partnership blends their musical legacies into a bold rock sound. Their self-debut album earned SAMA32 nominations for Best Rock Album and Duo/Group of the Year.
Fuzigish – South African punk royalty delivering over two decades of explosive, high-energy ska-punk anthems.
Cutting Jade – Known for soaring melodies and powerful songwriting, returning with the emotionally charged alternative rock that made them an independent staple.
Black Heidi – A captivating emerging singer-songwriter blending blues, rock, soul, and indie. Following her No. 1 5FM hit “I’m Fine” and her acclaimed debut album, Sunshine’s Bright Shiny Beam, her live shows are known for raw honesty and emotional depth.
#SOZLOL – A dynamic DJ duo closing out the live entertainment with an infectious party atmosphere and alternative crowd favorites.

Praise the LOUD Fest is built around nostalgia, discovery, and culture, featuring band merch, craft beverages, and authentic festival experiences. Fans can choose between General Admission tickets (starting from R250 with tiered pricing) and the exclusive Behind the Curtain VIP Pass.
