“Brain Fog” delves into the challenge of focusing in today’s world, where it feels nearly impossible to concentrate for more than ten seconds.
The song explores the intense demands of daily life, from work and communication with friends and family to the constant barrage of marketing and the ceaseless quest for information. It’s a vivid portrayal of the exhaustion that comes with the relentless pace of contemporary life.

“Skye sent me the parts and the way it was structured with so many changes and switches immediately made me think of that perpetually distracted feeling. It’s such an ADHD type song where nothing sort of sits or stays the same for very long and I really love how it came together in the end.”

Sakawa Boys began in late 2013 and blossomed into a musical project that played live and released music in the years between 2013-2017.
Named for the infamous Ghanaian email scammers, from the outset the band’s ambition has been to seek out a sonic identity which honoured their favoured musical traditions without becoming derivative.
The four-piece makes good on that promise with new music that is being released after a hiatus for the past seven years.
The sound of band circa 2024 is therefore also the sound of the coming back together of individuals who are drawn to making music together.
