London-born Folk artist Seth Tabatznik continues to make waves with his deeply introspective and spiritually charged sound.

His latest single, “Choose To Be Alive”, released via Moth Music (Mother Of The Heart), showcases the artist’s serene and meditative songwriting style. The track has already earned praise from CLASH Magazine, a testament to Seth’s growing impact in the Indie Folk scene.

Despite only debuting in 2024, Seth has already crossed 100,000 streams across major platforms. His live performances have also drawn attention – selling out his debut show at Boschendal Estate in Cape Town and another at Green Note in London’s Camden district.

With a second album on the horizon for 2026, Seth Tabatznik is emerging as one of the genre’s most promising new voices – a true Pixie Whip of calm in an often chaotic world.

Raised in London and now based in South Africa’s Western Cape mountains, Seth’s artistry bridges geography and spirit. His unique blend of acoustic folk and medicine music channels a deep reverence for nature and human connection. The music’s organic textures and earthy tones mirror the environment that inspires him.

Guided by the mentorship of Nick Mulvey – who played an instrumental role in shaping Seth’s forthcoming album – and inspired by his guitar teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand,

Seth’s work reflects a harmony between personal growth and musical exploration. His sound evokes parallels with Vance Joy, Paul Simon, and his mentor Nick Mulvey, yet carries an authenticity uniquely his own.

The Message Behind Seth Tabatznik’s “Choose To Be Alive”

“Choose To Be Alive” stands as a soulful anthem to gratitude and self-empowerment. Built around a warm acoustic guitar foundation and soft percussive shakers, the track features layered vocals, rich harmonies, and a haunting flute solo. The result is both intimate and expansive – a piece that invites listeners to reconnect with life’s beauty and presence.

Seth explains, “This song is very much inspired by my daily meditations. I follow Dr. Joe Dispenza’s methodology, and this song is what his message would sound like if he wrote singles instead of giving lectures.”

“It’s about our power as creators of our own lives – taking responsibility for our actions and not falling into victimhood. It’s about gratitude for life itself, because good things flow to those who live with open hearts and choose to focus on what they have, not what they lack.”

A Bright Future for Seth Tabatznik

With “Choose To Be Alive” continuing to draw attention and his second album in the works, Seth Tabatznik is quickly carving out a niche for himself among modern Folk storytellers.

His ability to blend mindful lyricism with transcendent soundscapes positions him as a standout figure – one who embodies the grounded yet elevated spirit of today’s Indie Folk revival.

Seth’s music captures that perfect balance between calm introspection and vibrant life force – reminding us all to stay present, grateful, and fully alive.
