TCL, a global leader in consumer electronics and the world’s No. 1 Mini LED and ultra-large TV brand, has unveiled a new wave of visual technology breakthroughs and AI-powered products at CES 2026.
This year’s showcase introduces multiple world-first display panels, cutting-edge display technologies, and intelligent devices designed to elevate smart living, immersive entertainment, and productivity. Together, they reflect TCL’s continued push toward a more connected, intelligent future.

A Glimpse into the Future of Display Technology
TCL continues to push display innovation across all screen sizes, from compact devices to ultra-large TVs. At CES 2026, the company marks the global debut of its SQD-Mini LED Technology, representing a significant leap forward in Mini LED performance.
By transforming conventional Mini LED local dimming zones into Precise Dimming Series, the technology enables highly accurate light control across the entire screen, delivering exceptional detail in both highlights and shadows. Combined with TCL’s industry-leading Super QLED technology and an Ultra Colour Filter Panel, SQD-Mini LED offers longer panel lifespan, improved colour accuracy, higher peak brightness, and a more stable global high colour gamut.
World’s First SQD-Mini LED TV: TCL X11L
Also making its debut is the TCL X11L, the world’s first TV powered by SQD-Mini LED technology. The model achieves up to 100% BT.2020 All-Scene Wide Colour Gamut and features CSOT’s WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel, delivering higher native contrast, sharper picture quality, and improved colour performance.
With up to 20,736 precise dimming zones and peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits, HDR content appears vivid and lifelike. The X11L also features a sleek, virtually ZeroBorder design that is nearly 2 cm thinner, while premium Audio by Bang & Olufsen delivers an immersive sound experience to match the visuals.
Smarter Viewing with Google TV and Dolby Vision 2
TCL is expanding its display ecosystem through deeper collaboration with Google and Dolby. Building on last year’s debut of the first “Always On” Google TV with Gemini, TCL’s 2026 models will introduce enhanced voice and interaction capabilities, including improved Google Photos search and new creative features powered by Nano Banana and Veo.
TCL also showcased Dolby Vision 2, the next generation of Dolby Vision technology. Designed to deliver cinematic detail through content intelligence and environmental awareness, Dolby Vision 2 is expected to roll out to TCL’s X and C TV lineups in 2026 via over-the-air updates.
Powering the Next Era of Intelligent Living
Beyond displays, TCL presented a comprehensive lineup of AI-powered smart home solutions aimed at enhancing everyday living. Highlights include the TCL FreshIN 3.0 Air Conditioner, GeniusFresh Refrigerator, AmeraClassic washer and dryer series, and the TCL AI SuperDrum washer-dryer combo.
TCL’s smart locks bring advanced biometric security and AI-driven access control, while TCL Smart Home Energy Solutions offer an integrated, AI-managed energy ecosystem. These systems enable end-to-end control of power conversion, storage, and energy management to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and support a low-carbon lifestyle.
AI-Driven Entertainment and New Interaction Experiences
In entertainment, TCL is leveraging AI to enhance picture quality, sound performance, and user interaction. The PlayCube Projector delivers cinema-grade viewing across flexible environments, while TCL AiMe, the world’s first modular AI companion robot, introduces lifelike, adaptive interaction that adds a human touch to smart living.
Design, Sustainability, and Future-Focused Partnerships
At CES 2026, TCL is also redefining modern home design through TCL NXTHOME™, a platform that integrates smart home solutions, lifestyle appliances, and premium collaborations with partners including Bang & Olufsen, BMW Group Designworks Shanghai Studio, and Alcantara.
In sustainability, TCL unveiled TCL ECORA™, a new eco-conscious material developed in collaboration with Chris Lefteri Design. Made from recycled porcelain ceramics, ECORA™ combines high-performance technology with sustainable design principles.
Shaping a Smarter Tomorrow
TCL’s continued investment in display innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable materials underscores its vision for a smarter, more efficient future. As the company breaks new ground, its technologies are reshaping homes and redefining how people live, work, and connect.
