Talented 22-year-old Cape Town-based musician, Tim Young, recently released his brand new single ‘Seesaw’ and today unveils the enchanting music video for the track. Tim Young is incredibly proud of the music video, which is easily his best release to date.

Tim Young delves into the inspiration and message behind ‘Seesaw’

“’Seesaw’ is an upbeat pop song about learning to love and accept yourself after being told you are not enough. It speaks to a sense of rebirth and renewal. Inspired by the low feeling one gets after failed relationships, the single refers to the idea of knowing your worth.”

“The track was written to free people feeling trapped by the actions of others. It acts as an anthem for people who have let the up and down nature of failed love (hence the title) rule what they think of themselves.”

This upbeat, catchy pop song needed a visual just as bright and vibrant to accompany it and this is what the ‘Seesaw’ music video achieves. Directed by the renowned Cape Town local, Christie Iris, the video is a work of art displaying a whimsical, art-pop aesthetic whilst still keeping in the summer-filled theme of the track.

This video is sure to be a huge success for Tim Young and Christie Iris and will give the already successful ‘Seesaw’ a completely new feel just in time for Summer.

‘Tim Young – Seesaw’ is out now across all digital platforms and available HERE.
