Undertone has released a new single entitled “Don’t Ask”. Originally conceived as a techno track in April 2025, the track underwent a creative transformation when a moody, haunting vocal from Sean entered the mix.
What started as a fast-paced, bass-heavy production evolved into a deeper, more restrained composition — perfectly complementing the raw vulnerability of the vocals.

“As an EDM producer, when I hear vocals, the voice and lyrics don’t always line up emotionally. But Sean’s take? It was an instant yes,” he says.
From a technical standpoint, the track features Undertone’s signature precision. The main synth was created using Serum, with automated attack, decay, and release settings to generate stuttering transitions and spacious, atmospheric notes.
“Don’t Ask” joins a growing catalogue of emotive electronic tracks from Undertone, including “Don’t Give Up,” “Alive,” “Open Spaces,” “Falling,” and “Kind Of Love” — the latter gaining international traction with airplay on BBC and Club Mambo in Ibiza.
Across his releases, Undertone is known for blending clean drops, emotional builds, and thoughtful narratives
His ability to weave deep house, melodic trance, and electro-pop influences into meaningful sonic experiences sets him apart in the EDM scene.
Balancing a business career alongside his musical pursuits, Undertone continues to prove that creative passion and professional discipline can thrive side by side.
