Undertone has released a new single entitled “A Date Song”. Over its crisp three-minute runtime, three distinctive bass riffs surface at just the right moments, guiding listeners through an immersive genre-blending journey.
What do you get when Amapiano, EDM and House meet in a South African studio? You have a date. Ngiyajola!

Translated simply, “Ngiyajola” means “I’m dating.” This vibrant track infuses happy Zulu lyrics into an electrifying EDM framework, anchored by a rolling piano melody, cutting “stabby” synths, and expertly placed percussion.
The track feels at home across club scenes — from Amapiano lounges to EDM dancefloors and deep House spaces.
Like his previous work, “A Date Song” showcases Undertone’s signature approach: layering emotive storytelling within high-energy production. It’s a celebration of love, culture, and rhythm.
