Composed and performed by Anny Whyte, “Something New” is about being unhappy in a relationship, looking for more, but not being able to find it. So, you decide to break it off, knowing that your “person” is out there somewhere, and you just have to find them. It does not mean that the previous person was totally incompetent, it just means that you weren’t compatible, and you know that you can do better. Your happiness doesn’t Have to be a person either, it can be whatever you want, as long as You are happy.
