The “Queen of Afro Jazz” is back. Renowned South African vocalist Judith Sephuma is set to grace the stage once again with a deeply personal production: Judith Sephuma Live in Concert. This highly anticipated event will take place on 4 July 2026 at the iconic Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace in Gauteng.
This isn’t just another show; it’s a specially curated two-hour journey through a legendary career. Fans can expect a seamless blend of her beloved Afro Jazz hits, selections from her soul-stirring gospel catalogue, and tracks from her recent Metro FM Award-nominated album, When Winter Fades.

Bridging the Worlds of Jazz and Gospel
Throughout her distinguished career, Judith Sephuma has mastered the art of versatility. While she has spent recent years evolving within the Afro Jazz space, she has never lost touch with her spiritual roots.
For the first time in years, she is answering the call of her dedicated fanbase by bringing her gospel expressions back to the forefront.
Judith explains that since her My Worship project in 2017, she hasn’t returned to gospel in a dedicated way, despite constant messages from fans asking for it.
She notes that she has heard those requests, and this concert is her way of responding by bringing her entire musical identity together in one experience.

Judith Sephuma is Celebrating Her Creative Chapters
Judith Sephuma Live in Concert serves as a vibrant celebration of her entire musical evolution. The evening will offer a rare opportunity to hear timeless classics alongside brand-new gospel material, debuted live for the very first time.
Attendees are in for an emotionally rich experience that fluctuates between quiet reflection and exuberant joy. With Judith Sephuma’s signature vocal brilliance and unmatched storytelling artistry, this concert promises to be a landmark moment in the 2026 South African musical calendar.

Don’t miss the chance to witness a master at work as she closes the gap between her past, present, and future.
This is not just a concert, but a musical homecoming that honours her past, celebrates her present, and opens the door to new creative expressions.
