Rise Betty Rise is the debut EP from Betty’s Nuklear. Established in 2021 and hailing from the Garden Route, on the coast of South Africa, the band deliver groovy alternative desert rock, packed with super intergalactic power, wrapping their music in imagination and abstract emotion. The line-up includes Chad Abnett (Lead Vocals), Dean Clarke (Guitar), Shane Carew (Drums), Anthonie Botha (Bass).
Betty’s Nuklear comments on the EP
“Allowing the songs to form on their own was very important to us, this allows us to maintain an emotional connection to our music, especially when performing live. Every note, every fill, every bend is powered by heart.”
Hard bass lines are constructed to drive these songs, the drum grooves keep you moving and wanting more, and the guitar offers controlled chaos with powerful riffs and imagination! Lastly, an ensemble of intense vocals to assist in the storytelling.
