South African rap heavyweight Cassper Nyovest is officially back in his hip-hop bag with a brand-new single titled “Guess Who’s Back” – a bold, high-energy track that reclaims his throne and reminds fans and doubters alike that he’s still at the top of the food chain.
Cassper Nyovesthas remained a dominant force in the music scene with hits like “Kusho Bani”, which set charts ablaze and sparked cultural conversations, and “Skuta Baba”, which showcased his sonic versatility and street appeal.
“Kusho Bani” received widespread radio airplay and dominated streaming charts across Southern Africa, while “Skuta Baba” became an anthem in clubs and festivals, proving his ability to connect across genres. Both tracks became some of the most used local sounds on social media, cementing Cassper Nyovest’s relevance with a new generation of listeners.
With “Guess Who’s Back”, Cassper Nyovest returns to the raw lyricism and classic boom-bap roots that first made him a household name.
The track takes listeners through pivotal moments in his career, reflecting on personal setbacks and major wins. Cassper Nyovest raps about the times he’s been counted out, only to bounce back stronger, sharper, and more focused.
These themes mirror sentiments he recently shared on L-Tido’s podcast, where he spoke candidly about fame, surviving public scrutiny, and the mental resilience required to remain at the top.
