South African R&B/Soul singer-songwriter Leoté Taylor returns with her latest soulful and heartfelt single, “I Choose You”, capturing the magic of instant connection.
Following the success of her previous single, “Do You Love Me”, this track has already garnered strong support across streaming platforms, signaling that Leoté’s star is on the rise.

Reflecting her personal growth and musical evolution, “I Choose You” gives listeners a glimpse into her most intimate experiences. “I met someone at an event, and there was this undeniable chemistry,” Leoté shares. “The song is about that moment when you meet someone and, despite everything, you immediately choose them.”
Produced by Neil Engel, the single was created through a collaboration with some of South Africa’s finest musicians.
“The process was incredible,” Leoté says. “From pre-production to watching the musicians make the track their own, everything came together beautifully in the studio.” Through this song, she hopes to inspire others to seize meaningful moments. “I want people to feel the courage to take a step, to live in the now,” she adds.
This release marks a pivotal moment in Leoté’s career, as it forms part of her upcoming album—a collection of deeply personal stories that will come together like pieces of a puzzle once complete.
