Francois van Coke and Matthew Mole set some magic loose in troubling times when they released their collaboration titled “Fall” in August. This song captured many hearts with its poignant lyrics and captivating music.

Fall is currently playing across 26 radio stations in South Africa and is interestingly enough Francois’ most Shazam’ed song.

The music video for Fall was filmed at Francois van Coke & Vriende Livestream 2020 where Francois and Matthew performed the song for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and it’s great to catch a glimpse of it again.

Francois Van Coke has also released a Live Album, Unplugged in Kaapstad

Unplugged in Kaapstad was recorded live at Van Coke Studios during Francois and his two guitarists, Jedd Kossew and Richard Onraet’s Stories agter die tunes livestream which aired on 13th June 2020.

Captured on this album are intimate acoustic renditions of Francois’ most popular hits spanning his seventeen-year career as vocalist for Fokofpolisiekar, Van Coke Kartel and as a solo artist. Tracks include fan-favourites such as Toe Vind Ek Jou, Komma, Dagdrome in Suburbia and Tot die Son Uitkom. Stories agter die tunes will be available on Showmax by the end of October.
