After a decade away from solo releases, Bruno Mars returns with his long-awaited fourth studio album, The Romantic, now available worldwide via Atlantic Records. The project marks a major moment in his career and arrives with significant momentum, including the explosive single “I Just Might”, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
The album also features “Risk It All”, accompanied by an official music video directed by Bruno Mars and Daniel Ramos. To celebrate the release, the album premiered across all iHeartRadio stations while Bruno simultaneously connected with fans through a TikTok Live broadcast.

A Global Album Launch
The release of The Romantic is being celebrated through a series of creative activations around the world, including South Africa.
Among the highlights are mobile flower trucks distributing roses to fans, “love lock” walls installed in various cities, and a themed pop-up experience called The Romantic Flower Shop in Los Angeles at Tommy’s Gift Shop on Pico Boulevard.
In South Africa, Warner Music Africa hosted a special listening event ahead of the album’s official release. The gathering welcomed influencers, media personalities, and winners of a 947 radio competition for an exclusive preview of the new music.
The evening created an intimate and romantic atmosphere that mirrored the album’s themes. One of the standout features was the unveiling of The Romantic Rose Truck, a visually striking installation designed to bring the spirit of the album to life.
The Romantic Rose Truck Hits Johannesburg
The celebration continues in Johannesburg as the Rose Truck travels across the city, handing out roses to fans as a grand romantic gesture inspired by the album.
Listeners can tune in to 947 throughout the day to find out where the truck will be stopping. The station is also marking the release by playing Bruno Mars tracks on the hour every hour throughout the weekend.
The activation transforms the album launch into a shared experience, turning the music into a real-world moment of connection, surprise, and celebration.
