Bugzito Gets Ready To Turn Up The Heat With “DI DENG”

It has been over a years since the release of Bugzito’s debut album Dilo Thlakana which featured the likes of Lolli Native, Thato Saul, Chad Da Don, Zimkitha, Marcus Harvey and many more.  The album detailed Bugzito’s intricate journey through life and music.

The multi-talented rapper and songwriter now returns with a brand new single titled “DI DENG” a mid-tempo Kwaito inspired with sprinkles of modern-day soundscapes carried by the Amapiano log-drum.

Bugzito

In his words, he defines the sound as ‘STOFO’ which is a concoction of music he grew up on, Hip Hop, Kwaito with elements of Bacardi music. He fuses these sonics/styles to package his version of a South African Hip Hop sound.

In “DI DENG” Bugzito reaffirms that he’s got it and always had it. It is a single about how he always fought to be in spaces where the real action takes place looking for “Pretty Paper” (Money).

Bugzito goes on to describe the breathtaking feeling that his music gives off which is what the single is beaming of from the easy listen lyrics to the mellow and yet hard hitting beat.

It is a must add to your library as it adds a touch of nostalgia with the references from the likes of Mafikizolo, Kabelo from TKzee and the late Hip Hop Pantsula within the raps. The beat flows quite gently accommodating for a vibrant tone which will have you on the dance floor in no time.

You can stream “DI DENG” HERE.

More info about Bugzito

Born Bakang Tshepo Seagiso, Bugzito spent his teenage years in Danville (Pretoria West). Bugzito spent most of his time listening to the likes of Tupac, Zola, Bob Marley, Molemi, DJ Mujava, and a lot of kwaito music.

This would fuel his imagination and spark his creative mind. Bugzito’s use of the rap style SPRAKA (short for SPRAKATHI – which is Pitori slang for conversion) on the STOFO sound that marries Hip Hop, Kwaito & Bacardi elements, is the blend that earned him the title Lebanzi La Pitori.
