    Holograph Release New Single: “Cheerleading”

The fourth single from Holograph, “Cheerleading” has Warren Fisher back on the lead vocals. In the song Fisher croons over a lush gothic synth-drenched soundscape.

Throughout the track his mistrust within his own psyche see-saws him from confidence to dismay. The track’s ostinato reinforced by the vocalist forever questioning whether he, and indeed any of us can be our own cheerleaders.

    More info about Holograph

Warren Fisher began Holograph with a single song back in 2015. Little did Fisher know that 6 years later this project would eventually lead to the creation of a fully realised band, now consisting of Ines Soutschka (Julia Robert), Calvin Siderfin (Dangerfields), Desmond Kannameyer (Runway Nuns) and Bergen Nielson (Bye Beneco).

    Holograph - Cheerleading

Through the troubling time of lockdown in 2020, Fisher created over 20 new tracks with the help of his housemates and homies Kannemeyer and Soutschka. The three finished song after song, defying booze bans and curfews to write a collection of demos.

After a late night of songwriting, toward the end of 2020, with lockdown barely a fading shadow, Fisher and Kannemeyer called up Siderfin to ask him to join. Without hesitation he said yes. The band hit the rehearsal rooms, got tight and then headed into the studio to produce their first two singles “From Within” and “Hollow Mountain”.

Deep into 2021 Holograph added Nielson on drums rounding out the the five’s pieces line up and adding an added sense of depth to their latest, and upcoming singles.

In the video for “Cheerleading”, Warren Fisher & Ines Soutschka battle with the psyche in this digital deconstruction of the self. The video was shot on location at the Thomas T Tucker Shipwreck in Cape Point, South Africa
