At just 17, Chloé-Jade Christian is making waves as she takes Afrobeats to the global stage, celebrating the rich culture of her homeland.
The singer, songwriter, model, and reigning Miss Teen Earth International has just released her follow-up single, “Nothing Else Matters”.

This upbeat Amapiano track, infused with vibrant piano melodies and powerful percussive beats, perfectly complements Chloé-Jade Christian’s pop-style vocals, delivering a fresh and rhythmic Afro-pop sound.
“The song has a really positive beat that immediately grabs your attention and keeps you hooked,” she says. Versatile across genres, “Nothing Else Matters” manages to energize and relax listeners, appealing to both new and old fans.
Once again, Chloé-Jade Christian teamed up with renowned producer Gino Lee at River Road Records
Reflecting on the experience, she calls it an “auspicious learning opportunity” and says, “I’ve always wanted to try something different, and I’m glad I did. I’ve always enjoyed listening to Amapiano, and I love how it makes people feel.”
Although initially written with a pop foundation, the song came alive when Gino added the Amapiano beats.
“Hearing the beats mixed with the vocals made such a difference,” she adds. The lively rhythm complements the song’s message about a love that provides comfort and a sense of belonging, whether it’s romantic or platonic. It’s about those people who make you forget your flaws and feel truly seen and accepted.” she says.
The song was inspired by her chart-topping debut, Won’t Turn Back, which explored the pain of a lost friendship. With “Nothing Else Matters”, she wanted to celebrate those who helped her through that tough time.
“I want to thank the people who reminded me that everything will be okay. The song is about the light at the end of the tunnel and the people who made me see that.” she says.
Music has always been a healing force for Chloé-Jade Christian. Whether she’s listening to songs, writing her own, or even singing in the shower, it’s a form of therapy for her. “Yes, the shower knows,” she laughs.
Currently balancing her music career with her Grade 11 studies, Chloé-Jade is working hard to improve her grades for university applications, motivated by her father’s advice: “Bring me your degree, and you can do whatever you want.”
In addition to music and school, Chloé-Jade Christian juggles her responsibilities as Miss Teen Earth International and enjoys activities like reading, modeling, acting, sports, violin, and horse riding. While sleep may be a rare commodity, she finds time for naps to recharge.
Looking to the future, Chloé-Jade Christian says, “Right now, my main focus is school. But I’ll keep making music because it’s my therapy.”
