Great news! Cape Town based Pop band Stone Jets have released a video for latest track, I Can’t Live Without You. Formed in 2013 and made up of Manfred Klose, Given Nkanyane and Eduan Joubert, the band are quickly building a fan base across South Africa with their fresh, unique take on pop.
Having released two EP’s already, 2014’s River and What I Say In 2016, the guys have performed alongside the likes of Hugh Masekela and Majozi and they’ve appeared on SABC 3’s Expresso and SABC 2’s Hectic Nine-9. They’ve also played on some of South Africa’s biggest festival stages.
Dirty Pink City had this to say about them: “Sometimes you find a band that instantly, without even trying, makes you want to book a ticket to the next available festival (no matter where)”. And Underground Press had this to say about them: “…these up and coming stars could easily soar right past you…”.
Directed by Jonathan Van Heerden and shot on location at Triplane Production Facility & St James Café in Observatory, the video for I Can’t Live Without You is a to the point depiction of what Stone Jets do – playing shows and sharing their joyful, simple and hearty music with people.
