Great News! Jack Parow has released the music video for his track “Dans Dans Dans” (featuring Francois Van Coke).
About a week ago Afrikaans rapper (also self-proclaimed pirate of the caravan park) released his self-titled debut album. Over the past week hype has been built up on the internet (particularly on Facebook and Twitter) and on the South African Music Television channel MK for the release of his second music video since he burst on the SA Music scene in 2009 with his song “Cooler As Ekke.” I must admit that I have not picked up a copy of the Jack Parow album yet, but I’m sure I will soon.
More info about “Dans Dans Dans”
The music video for for thes song is rumored to be one of the most expensive music videos made in the history of the South African Entertainment industry. The music video premiered on MK tonight after 8 PM and on the popular video-sharing website YouTube at 9 PM (South African Time). A growing band of Jack Parow fans (and your’s truly) have been waiting in anticipation to see this video.
It’s definately one of the best South African songs that have been released so far in 2010 (in my opinion). You may also want to check out the preview post I did a while back for this song or read the Jack Parow Interview that was posted on Running Wolf’s Rant earlier this year for more info about this brilliant Afrikaans rapper.
So here it is, the long awaited music video for Jack Parow ft Francois van Coke – “Dans Dans Dans”:
Feel free to comment and give me feedback if you have an opinion about this video.
In my opinion this is one of the best videos ever made in South African history. I think it’s absolutely brilliant. I’m sure that this video will go viral on the internet in the next few days. I was one of the first people who watch this video when it premiered on Youtube tonight, within 5 minutes this video had 63 view, within 10 minutes it was already over 100 views.
Only one way to put it “Hier kom ‘n ding!” (for those of you who don’t understand Afrikaans, that means “This is gonna be BIG!”). Jack Parow will be performing at Firkin in Centurion on Thursday the 6th of May, at the Klein Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch on the 7th of May, at Muzone in Brackenfell on the 8th of May and at Barnyard in Belville on the 10th of May so get off that couch and go check out one of these gigs.
